Whose Paradise?

  • January 18, 2021

Piece meant to talk about the tourism industry. The fabric used in the border is called a Bandana and was worn by enslaved Africans in Jamaica that was given to them by colonizers as uniforms. The fabric is heavily used in the tourism industry which is almost poetic since majority of hotel workers operate in austere conditions.
